Marta, in many ways is a milestone for Gannon & Benjamin. She is the first boat we have built with an electric motor.  Marta simultaneously represents the latest evolution in auxiliary power and the timeless endurance of traditional boatbuilding methods. She is Nat Benjamin’s design No. 100 and Gannon and Benjamin hull No. 85.

Marta is a nimble and comfortable daysailer with basic accommodations for short, overnight excursions. She is equipped with an Electric Yacht Quiet Torque 10 propulsion system which provides good power and range. Her structural timbers are made of purpleheart and her stem is live oak.
