The inspiration for Slipper’s design comes from the famous Rozinante by L.F. Herreshoff. Compared to the Rozinante, Slipper has more cruising accommodations and a larger, self bailing cockpit. She is small enough for spontaneous daysails and single handed sailing but large enough for short overnight cruising. She is ideally suited for someone seeking a newer classic sailing yacht with spirited performance, good sailing manners and handsome traditional appearance.

Down below the accommodations include three bunks, a galley with a sink, ice chest, and single burner stove, and port-a-potti. The engine is a 28hp Yammer engine with a 20 gallon fuel tank.
